FRIENDS OF BRUNSWICK SQUARE
Winter Talks Series on Brunswick Square in 19th century literature.
When: Monday 15 March at 7 pm
Where: The School of Pharmacy, Brunswick Square
Matt Ingelby from the UCL Bloomsbury Project will give a short talk on novels set in or with references to Brunswick Square and the neighbouring streets, mainly in connection with Mary Elizabeth Braddon, who lived in Mecklenburgh Square, but also Thackeray and others, and will relate literary representations to the historical geography of the area.
